FAQ
How do I book a shoot?
To book a shoot, you can either email me or fill out the contact form. After I receive one of those, I will have a contract and questionnaire sent out. I also love to meet up in person with my clients and get to know them. If it's impossible to meet up in person, not a problem. We can set up a phone call!
** Date is not reserved until contact and retainer are signed and paid
Do you require a deposit?
Yes we require a 50% retainer when booking a session. We require a 20% retainer when booking a wedding. That will be due at the time of booking. The rest of the payment is due day of the session.
*The 50% / 20% retainer is non-refundable.
*If you are unable to make the original date of the shoot, you may reschedule one time free of charge.
Do you work internationally?
YES YES YES.
We are based out of West Michigan but we LOVE to travel. Travel fees would apply but we can talk about that!
We have a travel bucket list with a few places that we would love to go on our Travel tab. There will be a discount if you book us in one of those locations.
What is your typical timeline?
Most sessions take about 2 to 3 weeks.
Weddings photos take about 8 - 12 weeks.
Wedding Films take about 10-12 weeks.
What payment methods are available?
We accept credit card, debit card, cashiers check or cash.
All sessions can be paid right through the website!
*We do not accept Venmo or PayPal.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We totally understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule for any reason, you can use that deposit towards another session. We do ask that you let us know at least a week prior to the session if you need to move it. If you need to cancel, unfortunately the deposit is non-refundable but we would love to offer another date or time that works.
* You are aloud to use the same deposit only once when needing to reschedule
* You have to reschedule within 6 months of your original date.
What if we are running late?
As photographers and videographers, we have a very tight schedule. If you are running late, please let us know. Unfortunately if you aren't on time for a session that will affect the time we have together and the amount of photos you receive back. No refund or adjustments will be made if you are late.
*ex: If your session started at 5pm and you booked an hour session. Our session would still end at 6pm.
